Digital Ignition
Aloha bloggers!
Today me and my class went to room 5 to learn about Digital Ignition, the lady that was teaching us was Mr Jessica. we learnt there was Input, output, poses and storage. We used i pads to use makers empire, its a app that you use to make people, animals and avatars. We played a game named memories. It is when you flip all of the cards over and you try to match modern staff to old staff. If you don't have enough cards you can trade for other cards. We played with this robot named Bee bot it is a robot that you can control with arrows on top of it there's left, right,up and down. You can try it.
I enjoyed playing memories cause it was fun to see old staff they use to use back in the old days. Now in the days we are using Technology like,iPhone,I pad,Chromebook and computer
The most challenging part about it was trying to create a avatar and a animal and creating other staff.
I think we should have makers empire because we can use it to create staff like your self and other staff you like.

Beeswax wraps
Did you know that this month is plastic free July?In our class we have been looking at plastic in our
classroom and the plastic rubbish that we create. We´ve also been learning about how our plastic rubbish impact on our oceans and wildlife.
To help reduce the amount of single use plastic (like cling film)that we throw away,we had a go at
making some beeswax wraps.Beeswax wraps are good for our environment because they can be refused again and again.
How to make Beeswax Wraps
- 100% Cotton (fabric)
- Pinking shears
- Beeswax pellets
- Baking paper
- Iron
- Old towel
- Cardboard (optional)
- Chose a fabric that is 100%
- Cut the cloth using the pinking shears into a square (measuring 30cm by 30cm)
- Sprinkle a hand fill of beeswax pellets onto the fabric.spread it out evenly
- Place the baking paper on top of the 100% cotton fabric and beeswax
- Iron the top of the baking paper and move around or place your Iron on top of the baking paper for 5 second

What I learnt at Stardome.
What I learnt at Stardom. At Stardom I learnt that a blue star is a hot star even hotter than a sun.
